My Life. My Card.

My name... Lyle….funny how I’ve never seen anyone misspell Kyle, but I’ve seen plenty of people misspell Lyle.

Childhood ambition... to be rich

Fondest memory... ask me again tomorrow

Soundtrack... The Man from Snowy River

Retreat... Lofty Lake in the Uintahs

Wildest dream... fighting Darth Vader and then escaping from further danger by using the Alpine Slide (which I’ve never been on)....a dream from my younger days.

Proudest moment... Becoming a Father

Biggest challenge... Becoming a Father

Alarm clock... on its last leg

Perfect day... would have to involve the high Uintahs in the summer

First job... slave to The Daily Herald, delivering newspapers and going door-to-door to collect monthly payments from their subscribers.

Indulgence... Oatmeal chocolate caramel bars

Last purchase... gas

Favorite movie... LOR trilogy..it really is just one movie [that fits on 6 DVD's]

Inspiration...my family

My life... needs a tour guide

My card... gets me to where I need to be

I'm with compulsive - those oatmeal carmel chocolate bars sound pretty good. Have you been holding out or is that a Texas recipe?

Inspiration - is that what you need for your family or does your family inspire you?

Sometime between now and the weekend I will post the recipe. It's one that I got from my SIL [in Utah] and they are my new favorite treat.

pappy- yes to both questions

Oooh, you're a former newspaper carrier? So am I!!! Well, I'm also a current newspaper carrier too. I want to know if you read "Lyle, Lyle Crocodile," to your spawn? That's how I would tell people to spell my name. Lyle, like the crocodile.

By the way, we have a friend named Walter. Guess whos daughter got her very own copy of Walter The Farting Dog for her birthday? Classic childrens literature, I tell you.

i remember my brother hating to go collecting because nobody ever wanted to pay up. this reminded me of my crazy days delivering newspapers.
